As part of Aurora’s commitment to strengthen the power network, Atlas is undertaking approximately 8km of 33kV installation directly to the principle. Starting in March 2022 the project has run on schedule with completion for October 2022. Other stages of the larger overall project may follow.

This route ran from the Shotover Bridge to Malaghans Road Substation. The route included stages of complex Traffic Management, approximately 23km of Duct installation, joint pits and chambers. This new power feed will help the Arrowtown, Coronet Peak, Dalefield, and Remarkables areas and support future growth.
