New Year, New Plant

Atlas have welcomed two new items this week as we gear up for new jobs across the South Island and the teams are excited! Traffic got there hands on the new TL3 this week and are putting it straight into work whilst Civil are getting used to the new Volvo 14t Excavator ready for a small development project including all services, retaining wall, and driveway.

Drainage on the new Cycleway

Riki, Ben, and Dave started last week on the new MCR Southern Express Cycleway running through Riccarton. Their job is to install the new drainage and sumps with Dower doing the prep and roading and remaining works close behind. The guys started on one of the sumps up stream so that section can be completed and opened first.

Progress at Hawthornden Substation

Ben and Jarred have been busy at Hawthornden for a few months now and progress is well underway. The site certainly looks different from the start! Not far to go before the fencing is complete and the new electrical equipment is connected to Transmission tower. The dropper towers are now in place and the gear has fitted perfectly to the new concrete pads which look great!
