John Wheelans
John has very select and breadth of skills that he brings to the table with a history in Accounting. Currently also Partner at Ashton Wheelans John is actively involved in Business Advisory Services, Strategic Planning and Consultancy. His particular interests are in the construction industry, property development, the petroleum and gas sector, financial services and professional secretarial services, particularly for Maori Incorporations.
John has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. He's kept busy outside of work by wife Justine, four boys and two girls. Amongst his numerous directorships John is a long standing Fellow of Christs College. He has an active interest in competitive skiing, mountain biking and stand up paddle boarding.
